Global Grab for Glittering Gold! Satellites, Villagers, Bankers & Miners Battle for the Bounty - Should You Stack It Too?
Yes, it is true that one ounce of gold can be stretched to a length of 50 miles, resulting in a wire that would be just five microns wide
This demonstrates the remarkable malleability and ductility of gold, as it is one of the most malleable and ductile metals known.
Part of The World Gold Guild Research Project includes discussing many fundamentals. Some are very complex, but the best lessons are the simple lessons.
Fundamentally, gold is money, whereas paper substitutes for gold have all gone to zero as every regime in history has risen and then fallen. In today’s volatile times, gold protects your wealth.
From Inflation
From counterparty risk (like a traditional bank where your deposit is merely an unsecured loan, and because there is no reserve requirement, you can wake up one day and your funds are gone)
US debt of 33 trillion
Gold is safer than all the assets below.
Housing (rides on a sea of debt because banks issue the mortgages)
Bonds are a triple threat due to the risk of default, interest rates, and inflation.
Even though the equity market has seen good days, the market has no breadth. It is held up primarily by 7 stocks, and those 7 stocks performed horribly, ending 2022
The World Gold Guild is beginning a series of articles showing the intrinsic value of gold and some characteristics that most precious metals reporters ignore.
Today, we will discuss gold’s physical properties (malleability and ductility) and why this matters.
Advancements in Gold Applications: A Technical Overview
Gold's unparalleled utility stems from its remarkable properties. With high ductility and malleability, it can be stretched into extensive wires or hammered into ultra-thin sheets. One ounce can create a 50-mile-long wire or film thin enough to penetrate sunlight.
One ounce can also form a sheet the size of 300 square feet.
Beyond its physical attributes, gold serves as an exceptional conductor of electricity.
This makes it 2nd only to silver for high-tech applications in electronics and soldering.
Notably, gold's resistance to corrosion and tarnishing ensures enduring beauty and reliability. It remains unreactive to air, water, and most acids, making it a prime material across diverse industrial and medical realms, including spacecraft, satellites, and medical devices.
Ancient Artisanry: Goldbeating and Gilding Legacy (5000 Years Ago)
In ancient Egypt, artisans recognized gold's extraordinary durability, pioneering goldbeating and gilding techniques that have endured virtually unchanged for millennia.
Gold leaf, hammered to 0.1 µm thickness, emerged as a versatile architectural material, adorning various surfaces from ceilings to sculptures, symbolizing wealth and status.

Contemporary Application: Gold Leaf in Modern Architecture
Fast forward to the present, the gold leaf remains a stalwart in modern architecture, gracing the interiors and exteriors of diverse spaces.
From luxury residential interiors to historic restoration, the application demands skilled craftsmanship to ensure enduring quality.
Gold Plating in Satellites: A Technological Leap
Elon Musk's company SpaceX plans to create a constellation of up to 42,000 satellites as part of its Starlink project. The company has already launched over 4,000 satellites into orbit and aims to continue expanding the constellation to provide global internet coverage, especially to remote areas. The Starlink satellites operate in Earth's lower orbit, which decreases the lag between data transfer and reception. This ambitious plan has raised concerns from organizations such as NASA, citing potential interference with missions, generation of space debris, and increased collision risks. However, SpaceX has emphasized the reliability of its satellite network, with a reported uptime of over 99% and the implementation of an advanced collision avoidance system to mitigate risk. We’re not saying all 42,000 satellites will have 5 kilograms of gold each but between gold and silver the numbers are enormous and never counted by USGS, COMEX or LBMA data.
Most guess there have been north of 14,000 satellite launched in space prior to the 42,000 planned going forward. Remember 42,000 is just what SpaceX has planned.
Pixy Math: 14,000 satellites each averaging three kilograms of gram per satellite = 14,000 satellites at 3 kilograms each = 42,000 kilograms x 35.3 (ounces per kilogram) is equal to 1,482,600 ounces of gold lost in space not counting rockets, missiles, spacecraft, nukes, jets, etc. Gold is also used extensively in imaging, medicine, other high tech, other electronics, dentistry and hundreds of other applications. Also not counting all the satellites planned by nations and corporations like SpaceX, Blue Origin, Virgin Galactic, and numerous others.
Gold plating has become a linchpin in the aerospace sector, safeguarding satellite surfaces from radiation and high temperatures while mitigating electrical interference.
The electroplating process involves depositing a thin gold layer onto the satellite surface, providing cost-effective protection and leveraging gold's durability and resistance to environmental factors.
Quantifying Gold Usage in Satellites
The quantity of gold employed in satellites varies based on size, purpose, and gold plating type. Larger satellites could utilize up to 5kg. The type of gold plating, whether electroplated or thick-film, further influences the amount of gold used, ranging from microns to millimeters.
Benefits of Gold Plating in Aerospace Applications
Gold plating emerges as the preferred choice for aerospace applications, offering a myriad of benefits:
Superior Electrical Conductivity:
Gold plating acts as a barrier, shielding components from oxidation and corrosion.
Ensures functionality in extreme environments.
Excellent Wear Resistance:
Protects underlying metal components from wear and tear.
Ensures longevity and resilience during space travel.
Highly Reflective Material:
Reduces solar radiation absorption, contributing to satellite cooling.
Cuts down on the energy needed for cooling.
Durability:
Withstands extreme temperatures and harsh environmental conditions.
Ensures sustained functionality and reliability in demanding environments.
Gold's journey from ancient craftsmanship to modern aerospace technology underscores its unwavering significance, with its unique properties playing a pivotal role in advancing diverse applications over the centuries.
So… We are Running out of Gold and Silver Projects in the US.
Plus, previous projects in The US were subsidized by the Old Mining Law of 1872
This meant the US Subsidized the mining industry, increasing supply and thus suppressing prices.
Pivoting to Latin American sources is as important as developing US silver companies because the US is 79% import-reliant on foreign silver.
The US has to do everything, given the hole it is in. Drill, mine, because it will always maintain consumption and money printing.
Allies are scarce for the US, especially since the East is flocking to BRICS.
With the exception of very few (See Past Pixy Picks)
There Have Not Been Any Significant New Gold Discoveries. That’s why we are talking to Outcrop Silver & Gold Today.

Lastly, this article would be meaningless if we didn't discuss the importance of stacking physical gold and silver.
When I'm not pushing out content for Pickaxe, Mineral Wealth, and other publications, I am most honored to write precious metals articles with Money Metals. I am affiliated with Money Metals because of their commitment to customer service and quality control, and they have a program that welcomes newcomers to silver and gold. You are not buying silver and gold but exchanging the paper Federal Reserve note (that exists to pay for wars) for real money.
Give them a try by clicking the link below which enters you in for a chance to win 50 American Silver Eagles. Along the way you will surrender your email (BFD) to learn more about their starter kit, which is "employee priced."

Why stack physical silver and gold?
There are few new discoveries of either silver or gold.
The macro environment is pathetic, with layoffs intensifying all while banks are insolvent.
Bonds are a triple threat due to default risk, interest rates, and inflation. The US dollar has lost its gold peg and now its oil peg.
BRICS are conspiring to topple the US dollar because, as mentioned in the paragraph above, the US dollar is BUCK NAKED (has lost all backing) except a fledgling military that couldn't even defeat The Taliban after 20 years and over 2.3 trillion dollars (5 X the price of Vietnam)
33 trillion dollars in debt means servicing the debt is the most oversized line item in the budget. (and all of this happening within a political environment where both sides of the aisle are raping screwing the villagers and not even wiping their fingerprints off the crime scene, in fact, their taking selfies of the rape or doing victory laps around the roundhouse)
